Q1. What is Marhaba Haji?
Marhaba Haji is a unique and a niche aggregator of Haj and Umrah private tour operators (PTO). It works as a marketplace that connects interested Haj and Umrah pilgrims with PTOs.
Q2. Who designs or creates the packages?
The packages are designed or created by private tour operators. Marhaba Haji has no role in the creation of the packages.
Q3. Does Marhaba Haji collect money from pilgrims?
No. Pilgrims have to pay the private tour operators directly. Marhaba Haji does not collect money from pilgrims on behalf of PTOs.
Q3. What is a mahram?
Mahram is a male relative of the female haji. He could be a son, brother, husband or father to the female haji.
Q4. What is a Land Package?
Land package is similar to full package except that it won't have flight tickets included. Pilgrims who want to book their own air tickets or people who are going for Umrah from countries neighboring Saudi Arabia prefer to book a land package.
Q5. Is there a minimum age to travel?
As per Saudi Haj ministry policy there is no minimum age for travel. However, only pilgrims above 18 years will be allowed to perform the umrah rituals
Q6. Can a single man travel?
As per Saudi Haj ministry policy a single men below 40 years of age cannot travel for umrah.
Q7. Why do prices keep changing?
Hotel and airline prices are dynamic. They are controlled by airlines and hotel owners. Based on demand the prices fluctuate on a daily basis. Hence, this impacts the package pricing directly.
Q8. Can i just buy visa from Marhaba Haji and book hotel and flight on my own?
As per new laws by Haj ministry of Saudi Arabia you have to buy the entire package from a registered saudi agent or sub-agent in India. The package amount is non-refundable
